After Historical Hauntings at Snug Harbor in 2010, we had the opportunity to investigate the historic Music Hall. It too is an original building on the grounds. At one point a stage hand met an early demise when he fell to his death from a cat walk high above the stage. It is said that he is still there. The following video clips were captured while team members were in the process of setting up, and also in the process of investigating.
On multiple occasions in the rafters and back over the audience, team members had things thrown at them. The strange thing is, even after hours of investigation, and searching, we were never able to find the objects that were thrown. All we had to go on was the sounds they made as they crashed and some broken glass from what appeared to be a light bulb. Please note that the videos were all shot on a hand held cam, and are sometimes shaky. Also please keep in mind, that in an effort to keep editing clips of audio or video evidence to a minimum, we have left the audio uncensored. There is some language, so if you feel like you may be offended, please do not watch these clips. Thanks.
1. Video – Hand Held - In this clip you will hear something crash and shatter into many small pieces. When we went to investigate it further, there was no mess or obvious signs that something had fallen or broken. There was no one else in the building besides the 3 team members in the rafters which makes this much more interesting. Based on the sound, it sounds like it came from the area near the cat walk where the stage hand fell to his death.
2. Video – Hand Held – In this clip you will here what sounds like glass crashing on the ground. The question is where did it come from, what was the noise right before the crash and why couldn’t we find any obvious place where it crashed? The events sent a clear message to the team members. At that point in time they decided it was time to leave the area, and they began trying to figure out what made the noise. The final decision is that the crash was a light bulb that was completely broken off of it’s fixture, and still screwed into the socket.
3. Video – Hand Held - In this clip the team members are in the same area as the 2 previous clips, and again they suspect that something was thrown at them. The team investigated for quite some time and found a large hex nut laying next to a piece of electrical conduit that made a similar sound when throwing the nut at the conduit. This directly ties into an experience that Christine had on the stage when she heard something land near her, and found that a wing nut had been thrown at her.
